Wong Tat Wah, the Group Chairman, was invited to attend the opening ceremony.

Mr. Wong Tat Wah and Mr. Paulus Lee, Honorary President and Vice President of All-China Chamber of Commerce for Jewellery & Precious Metals Industry, respectively, were awarded the “3^rd Hong Kong Jewellery Industry Outstanding Achievement Award” by Hong Kong Jewellery Manufacturers’ Association.

The “3^rd Hong Kong Jewellery Industry Outstanding Achievement Award” presented by Hong Kong Jewellery Manufacturers’ Association aims to recognize those who have made outstanding contribution to the jewellery industry in Hong Kong as well as their professional achievements and commitment to the industry, setting a benchmark for the jewellery sector and hence encouraging mutual benefit and growth, thereby further consolidating Hong Kong’s position as an international jewellery hub. The award is presented every ten years.

The professional judge panel for this edition of Outstanding Achievement Award, comprising 11 industrial experts from various sectors and boasted with strong recognition and trustworthiness, has selected industrial elites with excellent performance. The judging panel considers that winners of Hong Kong Jewellery Industry Outstanding Achievement Award not only should meet the basic requirements such as possessing professional knowledge on and loyalty to jewellery industry but also be equipped with leadership and forward-looking vision to bring vitalities to jewellery industry and hence sustainable economic and social development in Hong Kong.

As Vice President of All-China Chamber of Commerce for Jewellery & Precious Metals Industry, Mr. Huang Shuosong, CEO of Yee On Group, attended the Seventh China Jewellery Industry Development Conference held in Wuxi on 26 to 28 December where “Yee On” brand of Yee On Group was named “trusted brand” for three consecutive years and was presented the special award of “2018 Golden Trusted Brand”.
