In order to foster the development of the jewellery industry in Maoming and accelerate the development of Liu Tao Creative Jewellery Industrial Park, the Maoming Municipal Government has stepped up its efforts in attracting investment and capitals by arranging visits to various enterprises in the industry. On 18 February, city and district-level leaders, including Cui Jian, deputy mayor of Maoming; Fu Guo, deputy secretary of Maoming Municipal Government; Hua Cui, deputy secretary and head of Dianbao District, Maoming and Lu Xiaoli, member of Standing Committee of Dianbai District Committee and head of United Front Work Department, accompanied by, among other directors of Liu Tao Creative Jewellery Industrial Park, Zhong Yajian, director and general manager of Liu Tao, visited Dongguan Yee On Group to conduct a survey. They were warmly welcomed by Mr. Wong Tat Wah, founder, and chairman of Yee On Group.

Accompanied by Mr. Wong Tat Wah from Yee On Group, Deputy Mayor Cui Jian visited Dongguan Arising Sun Technology Industrial City to gain an understanding of its overall plan and conditions of production and construction. Then they visited Mansfield Manufacturing Co. Ltd and Xinbao Jewellery (Dongguan) Co., Ltd. to gain an understanding of the condition of the factory’s production.

At the post-survey seminar, Deputy Mayor Cui Jian expressed his gratitude to the warm welcome of Dr. Wong Tat Wah and highly praised his vision and strategy as well as solid strength of Yee On Group. Lastly, he warmly invited Wong Tat Wah to visit Maoming and take the lead to invest there. Mr. Wong Tat Wah said, “Maoming, as the key district for vitalizing and developing eastern, western and northern Guangdong, has huge future development edges and Yee On Group will pay close attention to the development of Maoming City and Liu Tao Creative Jewellery Industrial Park from time to time and make the greatest efforts to offer help and support to the development of Maoming City and Liu Tao Creative Jewellery Industrial Park”.
